Maryland Crab Cakes

An elementary recipe for crab cakes by eHow.com. Simple to prepare this recipe gets to the basics a virtual Crab Cake Cooking 101.
Ingredients
1 pound crabmeat
1 1/2 tablespoons bread crumbs
2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
1 egg
1 1/2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon ground dry mustard
1 dash hot pepper sauce
Directions
1. Preheat your oven on the broiler setting.
2. Lightly mix the dry ingredients.
3. Beat together the wet ingredients.
4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients—do not over-mix or beat the mixture.
5. Shape the mixture into 4 cakes.
6. Place the cakes on a greased baking sheet.
7. Broil for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown.
